The new paintball professional league is being formed due to a lack of paintball support as far as defense against attacks by the media, and the unorganization of the current pro league, the NPPL. Our new league does not have a name yet so please vote for whichever name you think would be best using the poll on the right! Lately the sport of paintball has come under fire by the press, yet again, and it has receive very little defense. If there was a real professional organization around, there would certainly be much less criticism, as well as defense to any criticism that comes about. The NPPL is the most well known paintball league, as well as the highest level of play in the USA. Unfortunately, the NPPL has "toppled over" per say. They currently do not have a complete running website, and are poorly organized as shown by some of their recent events. The NPPL does not promote their events very well, therefore it cannot fulfill its highest potential level of competition. If the new league works out as we hope it will, this will all be stopped. As long as there is a professional league around, there is no argument worth arguing about how paintball emulates warfare. And anyone who should try, would be easily proven wrong. The new league will organize a professional level of paintball play, similar to that of other major pro sports. Not only will we host and organize professional events, but we will hold amateur events whenever possible. However, unlike the current NPPL system, professional teams will clearly be the best and will only play other pro teams. But, unfortunatey...this is only on paper right now, we need supporters! If you are willing to support the new league, please start by voting for the name and joining the mailing list we will not send you spam, only info regarding the progress of the new league.
